RGI emoji
RGI stands for "recommended for general interchange" — the subset of possible emoji sequences that Unicode expects every vendor to support.
In more detail
Unicode's grammar allows far more sequences than any font implements. The RGI set marks the ones worth supporting everywhere, and it is what emoji-test.txt enumerates.
A sequence outside the RGI set is not invalid, but nothing guarantees it will render as a single image on any given device. SymbolTap only recommends RGI sequences, and labels anything else explicitly.
